Rafting is sport in which you are able to sail through rough waters. Leader - Skipper - is in charge of the boat, in which there is a crew placed from both sides of the boat, trying to accumulate by paddles. Skipper is placed at the back of the boat - and is in the command for the actions taken for sailing. Team work is of a great importance. It is required to note that passengers - rafters - do not have to posses any previous knowledge and experience. Adequate leadership and information, such as suggestions before and while rafting itself are necessary for adventure to succeed.
Rafting on Zrmanja River and Una River (Bosnia and Herzegovina) costs 320 kn.
In a price of Rafting, entrance fee for Nature Park Velebit is included in a cost of 40 kn, also insurance fee, complete safety and protection equipment and adequately trained leader.
Rafting track on river Zrmanja is long 14.5 km regarding part Mlini Žegar - Berberov buk. It takes approximately 2.5 - 3 hours of drive, depending of river intensity.
